Workshop Grundtvig
“LIFELONG ACTING”
Open Ending Stories …. based on Forum Theatre
17th-23th October 2010
Orvieto 100 kms north of Rome – Italy
The focus of this workshop is the Forum Theatre: this discipline was born in Brazil in the 60s, the founder is Augusto Boal, director of the Theatre Arena of San Paulo. It is based on several theatrical techniques – image theatre, invisible theatre, forum theatre – that make the theatre a tool to improve the knowledge and favour the language, a tool to change the interior, social and relational reality. The different techniques aim at breaking down the barriers among actor and spectator, and at exchanging the roles. If you want to learn something more about yourself and the way in which you interact with the others … if you would gain new skills to change your point of view and to manage conflicts in a non violent way …
At the end of the workshop was realized the LIFELONG ACTING blog
